Well, it's been a while since I have posted, and what better reason than SugoiCon to do so? I had a pretty awesome weekend, full of Pocky-buying, cosplaying, picture-taking, character-hugging, video game-playing, anime-watching, plushie-groping goodness. Lol.

We left Friday to head to Ft. Mitchell, Ky, home of SugoiCon. I was very highly impressed that everyone that was going was ready on time, that rarely ever happens!!! The drive up was smooth, and easy, not traffic jams or anything of the sort. Checking in, also easy, then those of us (me and Cookie), that didn't wear our costumes up, changed, and we got registered, which was a little more difficult, since they weren't set up on time.

Friday went exceptionally well, boughts me some Pocky, a bento box (finally!!!), and a couple of little Pokemanz plushies (don't give me hell...I founds a Mew and Mewtwo!). We took a lot of pictures (which I will be posting up after I post the blog). Adam gets there a little bit before the formal ball takes place. We all get ready, putting on our fancy clothes, and go to the ball. After the ball, a few of us change out of the feet killing fancy shoes, and we go out to eat at a pretty awesome sushi place.

Saturday was a great day as well. After taking 2 1/2 hrs to get ready, showering, blow-drying the hair, styling it, and getting in costume, me and the Cookie (#1) head downstairs to the Pokemanz tournament taht never happened since for some reason we couldn't connect to wi-fi. So some of us had some random battles, and I gots me an Arceus also. Thats also where I ran into my first of 3 Sailor Jupiter dopplegangers, and took pictures. It is also where Adam unveiled his AWESOME Dark Sheik costume (he made it himself ). We tooks more pictures, and randomly wondered wherever our little minds and feet took us. I bought more Pocky, and a mini-me. Literally. A little plushie of Sailor Jupiter (in her school uniform, complete with bento), which I carried around in my cleavage lol. There was a Final Fantasy phot shoot, and then Arbys for dinner before the rave.

The rave was quite fun, I went in with no glowsticks, and managed to accumulate several, decorating myself and Adam with them lol. Being all tired and worn out, I went to the room before the rave was over, and went to bed. Sunday morning a little more hectic, since we all had to be ready and had to get the room cleared out for check out by 11ish. After that, breakfast at Chaucer's...the in-hotel diner at which we ate lunch Saturday. Then a Kingdom Hearts photoshoot, and more Pocky/plushie buying. We left a little early, because there was nothing particularly left to do, and headed home. Went to my mom's to pick up the other costumes that came in after we got there of course (and mine didn't fit >.<, and then to get my apt key from my puppy-sitter (thanks Justin!!), and home to unpack.
